The Mystery Pie

Its here the mystery pie until you break open Heathers crumbly short crust pastry you will not know what is inside the steaming hot pie ,last night pie goers were given fresh wood pigeon and smoked bacon in a rich red wine and juniper sauce and the lucky ones who took the mystery gamble said it paid off and they though it was wonderful.
Bob was graced with the presence of two wymiranas last might but they were straying together and not getting split up by his advances. This weekend we a seeing a full house of guests and hope the weather will nice for them so they enjoy the Cotswolds and surrounding villages. Were making Hand raised Pork pies today and I remember a good tip make there near the stove where it is warm so the lard does not set to quickly while you are making them. Look forward to chatting again soon try and smile April will be here soon and its my Birthday Chow

The return of the Blogger

Hi folks and fellow followers I have been given lots of advise from various blogger s on how to improve my blogs . Lets see if has worked. had our heads down over the last week putting together some great events aand brushing up on the calender for the next few months.
Pie night every wednesday is going to be a great social event where customers can make new friends over a hot pie of there choice and a pint or a glass of wine the list of different pies is really exciting .We are also going to do our funny don't go racing day during the Gold cup festival on the 18th of March the day after paddy's day so the menu will be full of traditional Irish dishes and the Stout will be flowing.
This weekend will see the lovers coming out so we are already with the roses and champagne.
Bob the dog will be featuring in my blogs in the future as he gets out alot more than I do and has 16 offspring to show for it " he tells me all is quiet in the barringtons at this time of year so he is venturing up the hill to Great Barrington where I think he has a few lasses on the go.My fly now just got a call to say BOB is sniffing around windrush and needs a lift home .
When cooking any type of egg be it poached fried boiled always crack then into a ladel first then you can put them into the pan or boiling water with confidence that you are not going to get burned hod the ladle half way up like a pen this gives you total control.

See you soon Bob lovers and ceese
